Head of IT
Joel is an undergraduate student studying Computing in the National University of Singapore. His passions lie in the technical domain of coding, business intelligence and data visualisation. Joel is a Hackathon enthusiast and was selected for the Kickstart accelerator program and the NOCSV batch 38.
As a Teaching Assistant and former tutor, Joel is passionate about learning about effective means to engage students and how gamification can help children better internalise content. Having previously founded xClaim and Relieve, Joel has extensive experience in machine learning and deep tech, and is in charge of the adaptive learning algorithm, analytics and MVP build.
NICHOLAS U JIN
CEO, Legal Head
Currently reading Law at the University of Oxford, Nicholas is passionate about the intersection of entrepreneurship and social change. Having founded the Sustainable Fashion-Tech company Man's Best Friend and the Edtech company LevelUp, Nicholas has been awarded the Young Changemaker Award by the National Youth Council, and is part of the Kairos Talent Program.
Education has been a constant theme in his life, having learnt from passionate educators. In addition, Nicholas has spent 2 years as a tutor himself, which have shown him the effectiveness of gamification, and a tailored approach to education in general.

Patricia is passionate about the international business and educational arena on the one hand, and the art & design domain on the other hand. She has a BA and an MA in Education from the University of Cambridge and has worked in the education industry in countries such as the UK, the UAE, and China. She currently teaches Design and Mathematics at an international high school in Singapore and loves to bring design thinking skills into as many of her classes as possible, as she has seen first hand the creative and psychological value that such skills bring to learners.
Patricia is specifically interested in the intersection between game design and the EdTech industry, where she thinks there are many opportunities to be explored for creating better learning outcomes in future generations.
AQIL FARUQ BIN FARED
Head of Business Development
Aqil’s experience spans across consulting and finance with firms like BBX International and Goldman Sachs. As President of his school's investment group, he navigated outreach for the Singapore Asset Management Conference (SAMC) that has attracted firms such as J.P. Morgan. His love for teaching and nurturing started after he volunteered at the kindergarten section back in high school. Since then, he has worked with kids under AceTutors and WhizzKidz.
He is a rising junior at Yale-NUS College pursuing a BA Hons in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE).
